Dan Li works with video, sound, 3D simulation, interactive sites/video games, and installation. Her projects bring together the study of space production and reflections on media. She is interested in the spaces between existence and non-existence, spaces that never seem to be reached but leave some traces. Through these liminal spaces, her projects investigate the changes in geographic imagination, exoticization, and the structure of the gaze, while also exploring the possibilities of escape and alternative forms of perception.

李丹目前的创作媒介包括视频、3D模拟、声音、互动网站/电子游戏、装置等。她的项目结合了空间研究和对媒介的反思。她对介于存在与不存在之间的空间感兴趣，这些空间似乎永远无法抵达，但又有迹可循。通过这样的阈限空间，她的项目探讨地理想象的变迁、异国情调、凝视的结构，同时也探索逃逸的可能性和另类的感知形式。
